What began as a way to preserve fatherhood revealed something universal: the people we love leave pieces of themselves in words, memories, stories, photographs, voices, and moments.

What can I preserve in OLIVE?
OLIVE is designed to preserve meaningful expressions such as written memories, messages, recordings, photographs, stories, and other supported media.
The capabilities available may continue to grow, but the purpose remains the same: preserving what matters.
What does it mean to entrust something to OLIVE?
Entrusting something means giving OLIVE something to preserve under the purpose and instructions you've chosen.
OLIVE treats that act as a responsibility of stewardship, not simply the storage of another file.
Can I leave something for someone to receive in the future?
Yes. OLIVE is designed to carry entrusted memories and messages toward future moments and recipients according to the directives available to you.
Delivery and opening are treated separately: something can be faithfully delivered without OLIVE pretending that means the recipient has opened or experienced it.
Does OLIVE change what I entrust?
Your entrusted original remains the original.
If OLIVE creates an enhancement, transcription, summary, or other derivative, it should remain distinguishable from what you originally entrusted.
Who can access what I preserve?
Access depends on the authority, sharing, recipient, and delivery choices associated with what you've entrusted.
OLIVE is designed around the principle that access should follow legitimate authority—not convenience.
Can I delete something?
Yes.
Deleted material may remain recoverable for a limited Recently Deleted period before permanent deletion. Once permanently deleted through OLIVE's deletion process, OLIVE no longer owes stewardship to what was deleted, subject to narrowly applicable legal obligations.
Does OLIVE track how people interact with what I send them?
OLIVE limits telemetry around entrusted material to what is necessary for fulfillment, integrity, or functions a person knowingly authorizes.
For example, delivery and opening may be meaningful events. Building behavioral profiles from someone's relationship with your memories is something very different.
OLIVE is not designed to turn human connection into behavioral surveillance.
How does OLIVE protect what I entrust?
OLIVE combines technical protections with rules governing how the technology may be used.
Security matters, but OLIVE's responsibility goes further: stewardship, authority, authenticity, privacy, fulfillment, deletion, and continuity are governed by principles established in the OLIVE Trust Charter and its supporting architecture.
What happens to OLIVE over future generations?
OLIVE is being designed with continuity in mind.
The responsibility attached to something entrusted today should not simply disappear because technology changes or stewardship passes to those who come after us.
No company can guarantee what the world will look like generations from now. OLIVE can commit to building and governing itself around the responsibility to carry what has been entrusted as faithfully as it can.
Is OLIVE free?
Foundational OLIVE access is free.
Optional paid storage is intended to provide additional capacity. Payment does not purchase superior privacy, stewardship, authority, or constitutional protection.

The OLIVE Trust Charter establishes the principles that govern OLIVE's stewardship.
